Passion is always a door that swings both ways. When we are turned on and engaged, anything is possible! The planets are aligned and we feel as if we can conquer the world! But, when the door swings the other way and the light is snuffed out, getting out of a chair or bed might be the most arduous task of the day. I only want to be part of something meaningful. My focus has always been the same since I was a kid. I don’t like wasting time on the trivial and unimportant. While I have a certain sarcasm that was standard issue for most of us Brooklyn boys, when I step between the lines I am all business.
So, the concept of renting a house, leasing a car and not owning a dog is foreign to me and leaves me feeling detached. I recently started putting flowers out again and cutting the grass, so can buying a house and car and getting a female Weimaraner and naming her Buffy be far behind?
We are such a transient society, but I am getting the feeling that the ride will have to stop at some point and people will start putting roots down again. Of course, it all hinges on the stability of corporate America… in most cases, they just don’t make jobs like they used to. Find a good one and start thinking long-term again!
