Routines are predictable but they are also tremendously limiting.
The truth is that most of us form rigid routines so we don’t have to be exposed to the stuff that is eating away at us inside. Most times we can’t fix the stuff that is troubling us, so try slowly letting it go. Sit quietly in a room and breathe through your nose. You’ll find that the more you breathe, the more disruptive thoughts melt away. Find your calm and your life is bound to open up and free you from the mental prison that is the routine.
