What Should I Do With My Life?

Why is it such a difficult question to answer when all know what we’re good at, what we love to do, what drives us and injects us with energy?

I believe the confusion is in the details, not the origination. We all inherently know what we have to do, but things like societal approval, money, execution and historical performance get in the way.

How will people feel about my new path in life? Can I make enough money to support myself (and my family)? How can I do it? I have failed in the past, so how can I be sure that it won’t happen again?

All legitimate questions… but nothing in life is a sure thing. Even when you’re think life is moving in one direction, it can abruptly shift without warning with a gust of wind that you could not have anticipated. The only way to swim is to dive into the deep end of the pool. If you can swim, it won’t matter if you are near the steps or a mile away from the bottom.

No fear. No hesitation. No overthinking. Just do!
